The New Beginning
In this class, we will be invited into a new beginning—a fresh way of thinking that brings peace instead of conflict. This beginning is not something we must create. It is already here, waiting for us to accept it. The Holy Spirit offers a gentle path away from fear and confusion toward truth and joy. With each section of this class, we will release old habits of judgment and ego and begin again with love, guided by God's grace.
1. Introduction
We will start by recognizing that every moment offers us a chance to begin again. God never withholds love, and we are never stuck in the past. The Holy Spirit gently reminds us that today can be different.
📖 Scriptures:
- Lamentations 3:22–23 – “His mercies are new every morning.”
- Isaiah 43:19 – “See, I am doing a new thing!”
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come…”
2. Rules for Decision
We will learn simple and practical spiritual steps for making decisions that lead to peace. We will see how choosing with the Holy Spirit brings clarity and joy, while choosing with the ego leads to conflict.
📖 Scriptures:
- Proverbs 3:5–6 – “Trust in the Lord… and he will make your paths straight.”
- James 1:5 – “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God…”
- Psalm 25:12 – “Who, then, are those who fear the Lord? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.”
3. Freedom of Will
We will remember that God created us free. True freedom is not doing whatever we want—it is choosing in alignment with love and truth. Our will and God’s will are not in conflict.
📖 Scriptures:
- Galatians 5:13 – “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.”
- Romans 6:18 – “You have been set free from sin…”
- John 8:36 – “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
4. Beyond All Idols
We will see how we place false hopes in things outside ourselves—idols that cannot satisfy. The Holy Spirit invites us to go beyond these illusions and find joy in what never changes: God’s love.
📖 Scriptures:
- Exodus 20:3 – “You shall have no other gods before me.”
- 1 John 5:21 – “Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.”
- Psalm 115:4–8 – “Their idols are silver and gold… those who make them will be like them.”
5. The Truth behind Illusions
We will learn that behind every illusion is a call for love. What appears as anger, fear, or attack is often a cry for healing. Truth is never lost—only hidden—and the Holy Spirit reveals it gently.
📖 Scriptures:
- John 8:32 – “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
- 1 Corinthians 13:12 – “Now we see only a reflection as in a mirror…”
- Psalm 25:5 – “Guide me in your truth and teach me.”
6. The Only Purpose
We will discover that our only true purpose is forgiveness. Forgiveness heals our mind and restores peace. It is the means through which we return to the awareness of God’s love.
📖 Scriptures:
- Matthew 6:14 – “If you forgive others… your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
- Colossians 3:13 – “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
- Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind and compassionate… forgiving each other…”
7. The Justification for Forgiveness
We will understand that forgiveness is not about overlooking real guilt—it’s about realizing there is no guilt in truth. When we see others as God sees them, forgiveness becomes natural and necessary.
📖 Scriptures:
- Romans 8:1 – “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
- Isaiah 43:25 – “I… blot out your transgressions, for my own sake…”
- Micah 7:18 – “You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.”
8. The New Interpretation
We will see that every situation can be reinterpreted with love. The Holy Spirit offers a new way of seeing—a perspective based not on fear, but on healing and hope.
📖 Scriptures:
- Romans 12:2 – “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
- Genesis 50:20 – “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.”
- Matthew 5:8 – “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
9. Changeless Reality
We will end this class by resting in the truth that God’s love never changes. While the world shifts and shakes, our identity in Him is constant and secure. That is where peace lives.
📖 Scriptures:
- Hebrews 13:8 – “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
- Malachi 3:6 – “I the Lord do not change.”
- Psalm 102:27 – “You remain the same, and your years will never end.”
✨ Final Reflection
This class is an invitation to begin again—not with effort, but with willingness. The Holy Spirit walks with us and gives us the vision to see differently, to forgive freely, and to live in peace. The new beginning is not in the future—it is here, now, in this moment. Every time we choose love over fear, we begin again. And that is the miracle.
